I've spent the last 15 years helping game studios navigate the business side of getting their games to players. That means everything from pitching to publishers and negotiating platform deals to managing launches and optimizing commercial strategies. I work primarily with indie and AA studios - teams that need someone who understands both the creative vision and the commercial realities.

My path into this wasn't straightforward. I started in development as a level designer at The Farm 51, moved into technical direction, and eventually found myself drawn to the commercial side of gaming. That technical foundation turned out to be invaluable - when you've actually shipped games, you understand what's realistic in a deal and what's just wishful thinking. You can bridge conversations between developers who want creative freedom and platform holders who need technical compliance.

The work I'm most proud of was building Artifex Mundi's multi-platform publishing operation from the ground up. We delivered 60+ games across Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC with a 95% first-pass certification rate - the kind of track record that earns trust with platform teams. These days I'm at Played With Fire supporting the Star Trek: Infection launch, while also advising studios through consulting work and investing in IndieBI, a sales intelligence platform for game developers.

What keeps me engaged is the problem-solving aspect. Every game, every studio, every platform relationship is different. There's no template - you're constantly figuring out how to make things work for all parties involved. I rely heavily on data and analytics to inform decisions, but at the end of the day, this business runs on relationships and understanding what people actually need, not just what they're asking for.
